About Us

Greenacres Macadamias first evolved in 1989 with the planting of our initial macadamia trees.  Our small plantation consists now of 500 mature trees with a processing plant.  We pride ourselves in producing "spray free" macadamia nuts and do not use any chemicals in the growing or processing of the nuts.

We have been attending festivals and shows over the past 12 years, offering our quality macadamia nuts direct to the public.  The emergence of the Farmer's Markets has enabled us to continue to sell our products fresh to the public, who have a real appreciation of the quality and freshness we strive to achieve.

Greenacres Macadamias also purchase macadamia nuts from other West Australian growers, extending our supply and allowing us to expand our business.

During our years of shows, festivals and markets, we have met many producers of wonderful products and wanted to expand our business to include these gourmet products as well as some "old favorites".  Hence the emergence of GOURMET ONLINE.
